Donate Items

We always appreciate the generosity of our donors. Sometimes it is necessary to say no to some items. Either due to current government regulations or the lack of need for certain items along with the high cost of recycling. The list below will help you with items we accept and items we cannot accept.

Items Ready for a New Life

Usable clothing, household items, and furniture are needed for distribution to the poor in our community. To arrange for a pick-up of larger items please call:

Non-perishable food and cleaning and serving supplies are always in great demand at our food pantries and meal sites. We can never get enough items such as canned goods, cereal, baby food, powdered drink mix, salt and pepper, napkins, silverware, etc.

WE GRATEFULLY ACCEPT:

  • CLOTHING, SHOES, BABY ITEMS
  • SCARVES, GLOVES, ACCESSORIES, JEWELRY
  • BLANKETS, SHEETS, PILLOWS
  • THESE ITEMS MUST BE IN SALEABLE CONDITION:
    KITCHEN TABLES, CHAIRS, END TABLES, DRESSERS, DESKS
  • CHESTS, MIRRORS
  • SOFAS, LOVES SEAT, CHAIRS, RECLINERS, DESKS, LAMPS, RUGS
  • HOUSEHOLD DECORATIVE ITEMS, KNICK KNACKS
  • MICROWAVES
  • APPLIANCES: Must be in working condition
  • HOUSEHOLD ITEMS (Dishes, pots, pans and silverware)
  • BOOKS, MAGAZINES
  • SEASONAL ITEMS (Christmas, Easter, Halloween, etc.)
  • RELIGIOUS ITEMS
  • ELECTRONICS
  • TOYS
  • BOOKS
  • SPORTING GOODS

Large Item (Furniture) pick-up is available; please call the store at (262) 284-4637 x109

    • Due to possible damage to property we ask that items be at ground level, on porches or in garages
    • Drivers have the right to refuse items based on condition or if items are unsafe to move
    • Items left outside (i.e. rained or snowed on) will not be picked up

Donations can be brought to the store during store hours (someone is always there to assist you).
Tax receipts are provided.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT
We regretfully cannot accept certain items for donations. This includes all types of chemicals, such as paints and stains, as well as appliances containing Freon, including air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
